best-selling novel is the story of a loving young New York City couple who are expecting their first child. Like most first-time mothers, Rosemary (Mia Farrow) experiences confusion and fear. Her husband (John Cassavetes), an ambitious but unsuccessful actor, makes a pact with the devil that promises to send his career skyward. Director Roman Polanski elicits uniformly extraordinary performances from the all-star cast. Ruth Gordon won an Oscar for her performance as an oversolicitous next-door neighbour in this classic chiller.

Advantages: Knife-edge suspense, great acting, highly atmospheric Disadvantages: Maybe a little dated, but I don't personally see that as a disadvantage
for shipping costs, and I believe all copies available for sale are on DVD.
You can also watch (until and if it gets removed for copyright reasons) Rosemary?sBaby on YouTube. It appears in 14 clips, each lasting approximately 10mins. I?ve found the best way of locating these clips is to open the YouTube home page, and type the words ?Mia Farrow Rosemary?sBaby? into the search pane, then scroll down. The first available clip currently appears to be part 14, but if you load that then immediately click the stop button on the YouTube media player, part 1 and onwards should appear to the right-hand side of the play screen.
Thanks for reading!

Advantages: Fun workout, good music tracks, Rosemary is encouraging Disadvantages: Might take a while to get the steps
I have been on a task to lose some weight after having Harry, as I never really shifted those baby pounds (naughty me). I've done well through healthy eating, losing just over a stone and I am now back to the weight I was just before I got pregnant. However, I like to do a bit of exercise every now and then just to keep fit, and I also want to tone up as well...this is the bit I am still trying to work on! I already own a few exercise DVD's but I fancied a change. When I saw this DVD in my local charity shop for just £1, I couldn't resist. I set about trying it that afternoon and realised how much more fun this DVD was than the other aerobic workout ones I had!
Rosemary Conley's Shape Up and Salsacise does pretty much what it says on the tin. The DVD contains different workouts centred around the dance of the Salsa, a Spanish dance ...
Advantages: Great storylines, one part episodes, interesting. Disadvantages: none
TV Programme Only (I am not reviewing the DVD format)
Rosemary and Thyme is a mystery drama which shows on ITV 1, currently at 4pm on weekdays (mon-fri). It is on for an hour, and each episode ends in the one hour (there are no 2 part episodes), and the story starts anew each day, meaning you don't have to watch it every day to know what is happening in the show, just tune in when you want to watch an episode and forget about it until you come across it again.
The show is about two female gardeners, Rosemary and Laura, in each episode they are employed to do the garden of some stately home, park, school etc. But wherever they go, trouble seems to follow them and murder seems to follow in their path, everywhere they are working, there is a murder, and normally a serial murder, Rosemary and Laura get on the case trying to ...

DVD Description
In Roman Polanski's stylish occult thriller--possibly the director's most famous film and a big box-office success--a young, happily married couple, the waiflike Rosemary (Mia Farrow) and struggling actor Guy (John Cassavetes), move into a spacious apartment in a venerable old building off Central Park. They are befriended by the elderly couple next door, Roman (Sidney Blackmer) and Minnie Castavet (Ruth Gordon in an Oscar-winning performance), who seem to take a special interest in Rosemary's well-being. Shortly after another young woman in the building commits suicide by jumping out a window, Rosemary begins to be plagued by disturbing dreams, including a hallucinogenic black mass sequence in which she is raped by something "inhuman" while surrounded by a host of unlikely spectators. Rosemary discovers she is pregnant and soon falls violently ill. The Castavets offer advice and home remedies and even go so far as to talk her into seeing a new doctor of their choosing. But when the young couple's friend Hutch (Maurice Evans) exposes her eccentric but seemingly well-meaning neighbors as members of a witches' coven, Rosemary realizes that she is the victim of a Satanic conspiracy and that no one can be trusted--not even her own husband.
