Rocky III isn't better than the previous two. The gritty realism and characterization is no longer with us and what we are given is something that's more comic-strip like and predictable. However, although it isn't brilliant, Rocky III stands out in a unique way. You can't help to be lured into fantasy when 'The Eye Of The Tiger' begins to play over the opening titles as we get a glimpse of Rocky at his best - beating an array of challengers in triumph. ...
...a smile on your face because we're in the movies, we're in a Rocky picture. Although the specific plot in Rocky III isn't realistic we can to relate it by this way. Rocky III helps us to enjoy ourselves while gathered around the television and also in confronting our demons. ... Read review

If you thought Rocky I and Rocky II were good then your going to love this one, Its got some old faces like Apollo Creed and also a new face Clubber Lang (Mr T), This guy is a mean machine. This Rocky has 3 different fights. ~~~1st Fight~~~ The first fight is a exhibition fight between Rocky and the worlds number one wrestler, Who is about 2m tall this guy is really big, and hes a sick head ...
...guy starts beating the audience, Rocky being the hero that he is takes his gloves off and shows the wrestler who to mess with. ~~~2nd Fight~~~ Rocky V Clubber Lang this fight went completely different to what I expected the fight starts with Clubber Lang throwing some big punches and Rocky giving it him back but Clubber Lang was winning, Second round Clubber Lang went mental and just left Rocky stunned without a chance, I thought Rocky was going ... ...budget films that i enjoyed Rocky Balboa has become a household name for many as the underdog that made it. Making his way up from nothing to world champion by 2 grueling belts with Apollo Creed (Carl Weathers) rockys life as world champion continues with money cars and his outstanding and suportive wife Adrian(Talia Shire). But good things dont always last as our hero has been acussed of fighting nobodys by new contender Clubber Lang (Mr T). ...
...in the mood to fight Rocky gets a wake up call from an old friend who takes him back to the rough street where he needs to find that burning passion to avenge the death of a friend and win his belt back he needs the EYE OF THE TIGER. This film has action great story with funny bits that go along with all the Rockys to date and also packs saddness to go with it. Advantages: Rocky is an ispirational story and going for it!!
Disadvantages: He isnt as endearing as in the previous movies

...to say it but The Rocky movies dont really get better as they go, but saying that even the worst of All the Rockies would still be one of the best movies of all time. Rocky 3 to me was interesting because rocky has finally steped into a pretty flashy world that really appreciated him, however he is still the same old bum (in a sweet way)from down the road! After beating Apollo and becoming the Champion Rocky has got to where he always wanted to ...
...he couldnt survive against him, Rocky accepts his challenge to prove him wrong. But he actually loses because his mind was tied around the worry off his dying coach! well he was going to accept it and live with the shame but then his Lovely wife shakes him into gear and tells him that she didnt marry a quiter!!
