Advantages: Original, entertaining and funny (at times it's "laugh out loud" funny too) !!! Disadvantages: Way too short ... the extras on this DVD are actually longer than the main feature !!!
Background Information
"Robot Chicken - Star Wars" is a one-off special episode of the popular Robot Chicken Series which was originally aired on Cartoon Network during the Adult Swim season (in 2007)
The episode was directed by Seth Green and features 22 minutes of original sketches related to the Star Wars Saga. It was released on DVD in July 2008.

This is a fantastic compilation of RobotWars DVDs covering both competitor machines and the huge beasts that are the house robots.
All the four DVDs in the boxset feature insights into the world of RobotWars and how the competing robots are put together.
The three competitor teams featured (of Razer, Chaos II and Hypnodisc) are all fantastic guys, who I've been fortunate enough to meet personally. They show just how much fun you can have building fighting machines. Each DVD is also packed full of fights from the RobotWars TV series showing each robot in action.

When "Robots" was released in 2005 I headed off to see it in the cinema. I have to admit in the sea of animated films offered by the likes of Pixar and Dreamworks in the last five years I had practically forgotten seeing the film when I met my husband and he happened to have the dvd in his collection. In the time we've been together I've watched the film at least 3 times and it never fails to raise at least a little giggle.
