The three competitor teams featured (of Razer, Chaos II and Hypnodisc) are all fantastic guys, who I've been fortunate enough to meet personally. They show just how much fun you can have building fighting ... ...the Robot Wars TV series showing each robot in action. The House Robots DVD in this boxset gives a behind the scenes view of the special effects department of the BBC (which sadly no longer exists so its great to have a look back into the past). All of the house roboteers show how they put together their machines to withstand a bashing from the competitor machines. Sister Of Death
When a sorority initiation goes badly wrong those involved benefit from a narrow escape. Years later out of the blue they are invited to a reunion where someone is out looking for revenge.
This fast paced movie bares more than a passing resemblance to Dario Argento’s Trauma and could well have been the inspiration. The death count is jigh, the special effects are of a good standard. To get this DVD individually from the boxset would cost you around £20.
War Of The Robots
This awful eco friendly end of the Earth style romp follows the story of aliens who kidnap a top scientist from Earth in order to hopefully allow them some self preservation. This movie is absolutely awful, with terrible effects. However that being said it’s an amusing way to spent 90 minutes.
