All i can say about this little film, is that it really is extreamly depressing. I do not remember the exact story line but i can remember that a cop gets injered or something and they use parts of him to make into a robot so they can fight crime and then it goes all wrong and the robot then goes completly crazy and start breaking up the whole country and killing all the people in it. Finally it ends up that he was upset about being made into a robot and then the whole film is pointless.
You've surely misjudged this film slightly - yes a cop gets killed and they splice him with a robot to create a "supercop" - however unlike what you said, he doesn't go crazy - he in fact does lots of good but in quite a touching plot line Murphy the cop begins to remember his family before his death and starts to crack up, eventually killing the gang who killed him - the film is indeed violent but this does not make it pointless and it is certainly an imaginitive, entertaining, thoughtful film - I don't mean to have a go but if you're gonna write an opinion at least do some research or try and remember more about the movie - you admit yourself you don't know the storyline so how can you write an honest, fair opinion on it - read my review to find out what was really going on.
