This has and always will remain one of my favourite films, it stills makes me cry everytime I watch it and hear Bryan Adams at the end! If you like your films to be historical accuarate then this is not for you! There is no attempt at an English Accent by Kevin Costner and Christian Slater is just far too good-looking to play Will Scarlett. Alan Rickman performance as the villianous Sheriff of Nottingham is exellent and he brings so Bristish glamour to the otherwise Americanised film. The action scenes, although beginning to look outdated, are still fantastic, as are the scenery. I particularly love the merry mens woodland treehouses! If you are looking for a action adventure film with a hint of romance then this is the film for you!

I agree with most of what you say. prince of Thieves is a favourite of mine as well, but I think you could have said a lot more about it to convince others. Since we seem to have similar taste I'll keep an eye out for your reviews! Welcome to ciao and Merry Xmas, love Sharron xxx
