The I Omega am Man legend . .

Advantages: Good 70's stuff.
Disadvantages: Slightly dated of course.

, and to the drama, although it is 1970s music of course. During daylight hours, Nevile drives round scavenging whatever he needs, and looking for clues to where the "Family" hide out. (They cannot go out in the sunshine). If he fancies taking in a movie, he goes into the local cinema and turns on the projector, when it's time for a new car, he jumps into the latest model & drives through the showroom window, All good fun type stuff. After dark though, it is a different matter, he locks himself in his fortress, and defends it with automatic weapons, floodlights, and fights the enemy who use nothing newer than spears and fire. The film was directed by the famous Boris Sagal. The original book was published in 1954 novel "I am Legend" was written by Richard Matheson. Charlton Heston plays Doctor Robert Neville. Review of The Omega Man (DVD)

When a man really loves his wife

Advantages: brilliant performance, great story
Disadvantages: none

After a tiring day it is refreshment watching a romantic comedy but there are evenings when I need some more touching films. Yesterday I watched When A Man Loves A Woman. It is a drama about a family and although there are several other characters in the film the focus is on this family. The film was directed by Luis Mandoki. He is a Mexican film director, his most famous films are El Secreto, Message in a Bottle and Angel Eyes. The classification of When A Man Loves A Woman is 15 years and over as it is about handling alcoholism. The film lasts for two hours and is very gripping there is always a twist in the story you wanted to watch. Although the film was made in 1994 it is still very up to date or probably even more relevant. A lot of families are in these shoes whether they admit it or not. This film shows that alcoholism can be ...

Ludlow's Legend

Advantages: Excellent story and acting, amazing scenery and music
Disadvantages: none from me

and love for them. He worked very well with Brad Pitt who played the role of Tristan, I would have to say that he was definitely the main character in the film as the majority of the story was based around him. He was excellent when working with the animals but I think he looked quite stupid with his long hair. He was a good character and I loved how he had 2 sides. I think the scenes when he was releasing the bear inside him showed him in a bad light but when he was at home with the family he changed into a very caring man. The other brothers were played by Aiden Quinn and Henry Thomas and they too gave great performance and I loved the relationship they all had. There were a lot of supporting actors in the film but the main one for me was Gordon Tootoosis who played One Stab, the Indian who lived and worked on the ranch with the family. He ...
