Produced by- Universal Studios
Length- 94 minutes
Age Rating- UK:15, U.S.A:R, France:U
Genre- Teen film (which is a catergory of it’s own now) so it includes comedy-mainly sexual innuendo, contains mild nudity, bad language
and general cases of outrageousness. There is also some romance.

Cast
Breckin Meyer- Josh Porter
He thinks he's broke up with his girlfriend, so he sleeps with another girl just to make himself feel better, only to have his friend mail the tape of him doing it to his girlfriend, who dispite her own betrayl, still loves him.
Tom Green- Barry Manilow/The story teller
He is mad, and spends half the movie either talking about the story, or toying with his friend's pet snake.
Seann William Scott- E.L.
We all know him as Stiffler from the American Pie series, and all I can say is, what's the difference? He has the same basic role, the main guy's friend who's obsessed with sex.
Paulo Costanzo- Rubin
The smart guy of the group, who goes along simply so thye trip could work. Maybe he felt remorse for causing the trip by sending the wrong tape in the first place, or maybe he just saw it as a chance to smoke pot in different states.
DJ Qualls- Kyle Edwards
A weird, quiet student who the drag along because he has a car and a credit card. Throughout the film he actually gets to enjoy the college experience, and develops a backbone to his dad.
Amy Smart- Beth
She likes Josh, and is the girl from the video, but she thinks Josh used her and end ups going on a trip of her own to confront him and his girlfriend., although Barry sends her to Boston, Massachusetts.
Rachel Blanchard- Tiffany Henderson
Josh's girlfriend, who he the tape was sent to, and who was actaully cheating on him. She's only in a comparatively small part of the film.
Andrew Fowler- Party Guest
Anthony Rapp- Jacob
Fred Ward- Earl Edwards/ Kyle's dad
I don't get whether or not he's a cop or not, but he acts like one, and he even has a gun, but that's late on in the film, which I won't discuss. He spends the film trying to find his son Kyle, who he thinks has been kidnapped or murdered.
Ethan Suplee- Ed
Horatio Sanz- French Toast Guy
Jessica Cauffiel- Tiffany Henderson (Boston)
Mary Lynn Rajskub- Blind Brenda
Mia Amber Davis- Rhonda
Preston Brant- Chris
Rini Bell- Carla
Todd Phillips- Foot Lover on Bus

Plot

Our story is told by a college guide, who is oblivious to the fact he is meant to be doing his job, by showing potential students and their parents around the campus, and becomes embroiled in telling them the greatest college tale ever told, when his friends went on a road trip.
It all started with this guy Josh, and his best friend Tiffany, who have known each other practically since they could walk. As they grew up they realized being friends wasn’t enough for them so they started going out. Everything looked like a happy life for them, until it came to college. Tiffany went to veterinary school in Austin, Texas, while Josh ended up stuck in a New York college. As you can probably guess they long distance thing was a struggle, and Tiffany gave in to their being faithful pact. Josh starts to worry when she does not answer his calls or writes to him any more, and on the morning he is about to send her a tape, he is given a big test, that almost certainly means the end of his college days if he does do extremely well, so his friend E.L convinces him it’s over for his love and academic life, and convinces him to come to a party and get off with Beth, a girl who actually wants him. When he gives in, she convinces him to tape themselves, for added thrills. In the morning his friends can't believe he did it, until he lets on about the tape. What they didn't know is that his room mate had put the wrong tape in the post, so now a tape of Josh having sex with another girl is on it's way to the love of his life. So he has to get to Austin in Texas to get to the tape before Tiffany does, so there's only one thing for it- Road Trip! So Josh, E.L (who only goes to try and see if he will get to watch the tape) and Rubin set off on their cross-country trek, dragging another young and perculiar student, Kyle Edwards with them (only because he has a car). Now the story teller, who we find out is called Barry stays behind soley for the purpose of getting Rubin's snake all to himself so he can torcher mice (yeah he is mad, and throughout the film you will realise just how mad he is).
Well I won't tell you any more, because that would be spoiling the film, but as you can probably tell, this trip isn't going to be a nice, long quite drive.

I'm not sure but I think I even saw Ben Affleck dressed as a trampy student at Boston College. If you watch the film, he will be at the point where Tiffany from Boston has just found out her boyfriend has been cheating on her (well that's what Beth told her), and is smashing up his car, and him with a steel bat. Some may argue it's his best role, because it's his shortest.

I thought Josh looked a little old to be in college, he looked well into his 20's unlike his friends, who only seemed in their early 20's. The guy who played Kyle was really skinny aswell, almost like he was ill.
Anyway, enough of the character's health and appearence.

The best way for me to describe it would be to say it's Rat Race meets Hollyoaks. Either are good to watch, but put them together and your in for something special I can tell you.
Now before I saw it, I thought it's probably going to be like American Pie, full of guys trying to trick young girls into showing them their various bits. Yes, ok, some of it was about that, but I think it was more about the comdey than the sexuality.

I thought it was silly really him going through all that just to get the tape back, I mean if he'd known what she was up to. Well, if it was me, I would have took the tape to her in person.
I genuinely felt sorry for him, well until he ended up with Beth. I thought it served Tiffany right.

Any way, if you like to laugh at a couple of guys acting like dumbasses and cringing at the weirdos they meet, then this could be for. If you are easily offended by reference to sex and strong language, and a load of twenty year olds pretending to be teens, then you will probably not want to go near this.

Well I enjoyed it, well most of it. It brightened up what otherwise would have been a boring Saturday night, although started kind of late, so it's a good job it wasn't too long, like my Lord of the Rings incident.

Sorry if I gave you too much of what's in the film, but it's hard to review a films best apsects without mentioning what they are.

Sean is still playing stifler, but still really funny. I cringed laughing at his final scene. Good op.
