Infidelity, dope smoking and feeding snakes all play their parts in this funny and enjoyable film. The hero of the story Josh has accidently mailed a video of his infidelity to his long term girlfriend 1800miles away in another college. He now has 3 days to get there and intercept the package, before the sticky stuff hits the fan. This film follows the formula of a hero,a quest and a maiden to save. The followers all play their parts well aiding our hero and contributing to the comedy. The only part of the film that I didn't particularly like was the use of a narrator in telling the story as a memory. This didn't really add to the film in any way ,and the time wasted would have been better spent on one more comic episode within the journey. Overall I really enjoyed the film for what it was.Good fun ,funny ,engaging with memorable characters and comic set pieces that will stay in my memory.Definately better then American Pie,Watch it.
The 2nd part of my review concerns the product being a DVD that you may spend 20 pounds of your hard earned spondullies on.I wouldn't.I did really enjoy the film, but would purchase it on video when it appears at the £5.99 mark on the bargain shelf,or the 4 for £20 offer. The extras on the DVD dont warrant the expense,so watch it at the first opportunity, but delay any extravagent purchase.

Thank you for being so honest about the DVD. When one enjoys a film so much, it is often difficult to say anything bad about the fact that we are, to my mind, still getting conned with DVD prices. Cheers - Ray

Good opinion, I agree with you about the DVD... quite poor really. The name 'unseen & explicit' is a bit misleading to say the least (American Pie did the same thing).

I saw Road Trip on a plane trip and found it helped to pass the time and was much funnier than I expected. The DVD release is supposed to contain the uncut scenes and be much raunchier? Is it?
