Ring is an oustanding achievement in the horror genre and should be what American producers should be aiming for in the future. This film does not rely on special effects, cheap scares or blood and gore. Rather the 'killer' is mute, faceless and inexplicably ghastly to the viewer. This film will leave you satisfied as a viewer, I felt relief as it was a breath of fresh air from Hollywood horror and was genuinly terrifying. Even though people are often put off by the idea of subtitles the bridge between two cultures creates more mystery within the narrative- the subtitles are a positive application and does not restrict your viewing experience! I recommend this to anyone who has an open mind- just don't watch the remake first because it will ruin the whole experience for you.
I really like your style of writing, but any chance of paragraphing it - you get more impact by doing that - two paragraphs, two blows at the reader! I am afraid I didn't get any rel idea what this film is abouot, but maybe next op - yes? Welcome and i look forward to reding a load more of your great wording!
Im glad you enjoyed the film so much, however you really havent commented much on the sortyline or the characters so it wouldn't be of much use to someone who was considering whether or not to see the film. Welcome to ciao, tom
