Advantages: Interesting idea, very thrilling

When I first saw a trailer for this movie it was on a movie website. I go to movies with an open mind, but as I missed this one, I bought it on DVD in stead. It was an excellent buy. I have read and heard many mixed reviews of this film. I didn't go to the cinema to see it, but I waited for it to come out on DVD. A friend lent it to me and I sat down on a Sunday evening with all the lights switched off and watched. Take a trip to the back of beyond & start having a very bad day. Far too much like a lot of other horror flicks in this genre. People being chased through a forest by people who want to kill them for no reason at all. Right. ...human being that takes the WRONG TURN. Film has its quantity of deaths and very gory detail for example in one part you'll see somebodies head getting hacked off. This has got to be one of the recent horror films that have thought deeply about the way in each person was going to die because there are some real unsuspect deaths. ...find them, do they escape? Wrong Turn is definitely one of the better ones. If your after, a good horror that makes you keep watching then this one is for you. If you don't like the stereotypical teen horror, fine another film! I watched Wrong Turn directed by Rob Schmidt, the other day and it was one of the better films that i have watched in a while. If you like horrors come thrillers then this is right up your street.
