Wonder Boys is a truly enjoyable movie, combining a fine lead performance from Michael Douglas in a meandering, richly comic story that leaves you feeling generally better about life than when you started watching it. His gay editor (played excellenty by the tragic Robert Downey Jr) arrives to see the book and attend the university's annual 'WordFest' competition for writers.
