...their public access cable show, Wayne's World, which they present from Wayne's basement. The first film is basically about their show being bought up by a television company who want to exploit it, but naturally the day is saved in the end! This film also stars the hilarious Rob Lowe as the evil TV executive, Benjamin.
In the second film, Wayne and Garth decide to put on a rock festival in Aurora (where they live) after Wayne is visited by the ghost ... ...is more amusing of the two films, but it's a very tough decision.
Both films a told very much from a rock standpoint, with sountracks that include Bad Company and Queen, and personal appearances from Aerosmith and Alice Cooper. The humour is standard Mike Myers, so if you're a fan of Austin Powers and the like, then this will probably be your cup of tea.
