This was a film, which had been lurking on my 'to watch' list for longer than the iron lady was prime minister, and I finally got around to selecting it in my local video emporium the other night. What a sweet, funny witty little film about two old irish men who scam 7 million pounds from the National Lottery. I watched this film on DVD and it;s a joy to watch, easy and funny with no violence or swearing just good humour. Set on the Isle of Man, pretending to be Ireland the film follows the lives of two friends who realise that there is a lottery winner in their community! Realising the winner 'Ned Devine'has died in his chair from the shock ...
...monkeys agree to pretend that one of them is to be Ned Devine when the Lottery come to visit. I watched this film three times as it has some brilliant scenes with the two main charcters, and great scenery.
