Advantages: Occassional moments of professional film making Disadvantages: lazy & tired... a real stinker in the Bond canon
...believable in the role of a suave, sophisticated and sexy secret agent.
The supporting cast is of no help whatsoever. Grace Jones is just plain unattractive and all the snarling and high heels in the world won't make her a classic foe in the mould of Red Grant. Her senior cohort, Max Zorin - even the names were bad by now - is played with an annoying collection of twitches and hisses by Christopher Walken, who appears far too young and lightweight ...

...of an era. Was it a happy era or a sad era? Who knows - I'll leave that to a review of Roger Moore as James Bond. But does Mr Moore end on a high note?
After retrieving a highly advanced silicon chip (capable of surviving a magnetic pulse given out by a nuclear bomb) British Intelligence sends their top man to investigate the alarming lack of security at the manufacturer - Zorin Industries. Using an interest in horse racing as a cover Bond infiltrates ...

Advantages: Nice locations, good action scenes and a super villain Disadvantages: Moore a little tired and the plot isn't the best in the series
A View To A Kill marked the end of the 12-year Roger Moore era of Bond. At 58 years of age when the film was released back in 1985, Moore is the oldest actor to have been cast as the super-agent to date. To many, Octopussy should have been his last, but whilst A View To A Kill has frailties both in parts of the plot and the acting, it is among the more enjoyable films.
Partially named after the Ian Fleming short story 'From A View To A Kill', this ...

Advantages: Great last Bond film for Roger Disadvantages: Not rated as Roger Moore's best Bond
As A View to a kill was the first Bond film I ever saw in the cinema and I have very good memories of it, I thought I should review this one.
This was made in 1985 and was Roger Moores last outing as James Bond, he did not really want to do this one as he thought that he was too old at this stage to play the part. The storyline was actually set up for the new Bond Timothy Dalton but there was a last minute hitch and the film Dalton was currently ...

Grace Jones' catwalk villainess cuts a finer figure than the usual Bond heavy. It's a pity she turns out good in the end. But, like Walken, she puts in an exuberant performance.
This is the best Bond film that Moore did by far even if he was past his best. ...

Advantages: Great Bond Film, Music Disadvantages: Sometimes plot runs slowly
...best ones. It's strange because a lot of the die hard James Bond fans don't like this one and The Man With The Golden Gun.
For me, I'm sorry to have to disappoint a lot of the die hard fans but I consider them to be good films. None of the Bond films are exceptionally boring at all. And this Bond film is by all means never a bore, except in a few spots where the film drags slowly, but the pace always picks up.
Christopher Walken was as if he ...

Advantages: it has an impressive story line. nice eifel tower jump scene Disadvantages: poor consideration for the lack suspence leading up to the bridge scene
...he still went out with a smash. This is one heck of a bond film, espiecally with the famous san fransisco bridge fight scene which ends up with bond and his lovely girl stranded on top just after the blimp has blown up. Very impresive. allthough the fight scenes are good wot about the story line???? well all i have to say is if a real ex-kgb agent(genectcally mutated during ww2 by a crazy emet brown looking scienctist) turned milionare trys to put ...
