Advantages: A gripping account of the horrible events
Disadvantages: Very hard to watch, and I feel it's too soon

...to write a review on United 93. That may sound selfish, or ignorant, but I can imagine that the seven other Ciao users before me have felt the same. Advantages: A superb ensemble and great direction.
Disadvantages: Knowing the outcome, it can be harrowing to watch.

...knows exactly what happened aboard United Airlines Flight 93, but it is thought the passengers decided to fight back against the hijackers, knowing what had already befallen the other planes. To be honest, I though it was too early for a fictionalised film based on the events of 9/11. Disadvantages: It's easy to doubt the motives of film producers...

It must be said, even before watching this film, I was wondering about the moral questions surrounding its inception. A movie about 9/11, focusing on the passengers who were on the one plane that crashed before reaching its intended target, as well as the chaos in various air control rooms as the disaster unfoled, must of course raise some questions of propriety. Summary "United 93" is the name of the fourth flight to be hijacked on September 11th, the only one, however, which failed to reach its target thanks to passengers' determination, who bravely fought their way to the cockpit before crashing in a field. Disadvantages: There is an element of propaganda to it

...the people on the plane United 93 who managed to re-gain control and in doing so lost their lives. A set of ordinary people showing bravery and strength not only as an attempt to protect themselves but also their country. The fact that this story was based upon the phone calls made to the people's familys whilst on the planes and from the black box recording found within the crash, further emphasises the effect to which this story has on the viewer. Moving, Upsetting and Emotional - are the best ways to describe my reaction to this film.
