Advantages: Gripping
Disadvantages: As depressing as hell

Unforgiven is a great film, which Eastwood intentionally left until he was old enough to play the part. However, in my opinion the extra footage and stuff they stick on to these special editions rarely add anything extra to your enjoyment. If you already have "Unforgiven" on DVD I wouldnt buy the special edition. But, if you just want to watch the film and havent got it yet, then go for it! Best western ever

Advantages: The best western ever
Disadvantages: Alittle slow in places

Without doubt I can say this is the best western I have ever seen, Not only does it paint what I would think is a accurate portrail of life in the west but it is also done in beautiful and sometimes thought provoking way. Clint eastwood not only stars but directs and what a job he does in both roles. He paints a picture of a aging gunslinger who needs money to bring up his two kids.
