Advantages: A fantastic family film, which is very funny and suits all ages. Disadvantages: It doesn't seem like a long enough film.
I really enjoyed watching this film as it's very funny throughout. It's definitely suited for all ages and is even a film that you could watch over and over again, as children usually do, and that's speaking from experience, as i've now watched it about 12 times and know it back to front. This film is definitely one to watch if you've never seen it before, or even if you have. It's one to cheer you up on a miserable day.

...after his receiving a new toy for his birthday. Buzz Lightyear - the must have - all singing, all dancing, super duper spaceman here to save the world. This has to be amongst the best films of all times let alone the best animations. This is an excellent, very funny film, and yet its suitable for children. They are jokes that are aimed at adults as well as jokes being aimed at kids. This is probably why it was so successful. The animation was like nothing seen before at the time this film came out. ...pride of place among the toy collection of a young sprog named Andy. But there's trouble in paradise when Andy's birthday produces a brand new toy - shiny laser-lighted space ranger Buzz Lightyear (voiced by Tim Allen). Suddenly, jealousy reigns supreme in Andy's toy chest.
What really gets under Woody's Stetson is having to bite the bullet and work with Buzz as a team when the pair of them get lost in the big city, before ending up in the evil ... ...ops on innocent toys.
There are some cracking jokes along the way, more often than not related to Buzz's insistence that he's a REAL space ranger, and not just an action figure. In fact, this is worth buying just for the scene where the cold truth suddenly dawns on Buzz and he becomes 'Mrs Nesbitt'. But there's much, much more in here worthy of a guffaw or three.
