Toy Story is a spectacular Disney classic and the winner of Academy awards. An animation film with amazing special effects. The story centers around a little boys toys who come to life when humans arent around. His favourite toy "Woody" , a pull string cowboy has some new competition when a flashy new space ranger "Buzz Lightyear" enters the scene. The capers of the two rivals with the help of the likes of Mr.potato head and the green army, make ...
Toy Story is a great film, about the rivalry between toys and who plays with them. This actually a really good film, because, at the time, Toy Story used different animation technique, and Tim Allen is really funny! Although it doesn’t have that ‘Disney Classic’ feel to it, it’s a good film to sit down with the kids and watch. And because it already has kids and toys in it, that’s a big plus too. Your kids will think that their toys come alive when ...

...When the new toy comes Buzz Lightyear who is a bright very modern sought of toys, flashing lights etc. Andy prefers him as every kid would. From here the story develops, you can watch the movie to find out what happens. The story is good but the graphics are quite something, they are very impressive and it really works well. You would think this film was suited just for kids but I enjoyed it and I am no kid.
The voice overs are good and it’s ...

Advantages: Great story & animation, humorous to a wide audience! Disadvantages: None - I LOVED IT !
...My Son pulled out Toy Story with excitement, and quickly put it in the DVD player , and you can imagine my excitement of having to a watch another “Kids” movie. The first thing I noticed when the movie started was the fantastic computerized animation from the Pixar Company. I was never a fan of computerized cartoons, but there was something different about this one. Very smooth, brilliant colors, and appealing to the eyes. The voices of the characters ... ...very fitting for the character that they portrayed. Who could have played a better “Woody” then Tom Hanks, and who better to be “Buzz Light Year” then Tim Allen. The humor in this movie was suitable for children, but I’m sure some of it could only be understood by adults. The kids were most certainly entertained by the comical acts of the animated characters. They were also very attentive to the movie, and did not get bored, leave the room, and go ...

...computers and some specific softwares, Toy Story is born with excitement. The first time I watched this movie 5 years ago, I was really impressed, from deep in my heart. Disney and Pixal (I think the spelling of this company should be like this, if not please forgive me) really did the best job in human history. The whole movie is in 3-D (three-dimension) which is totally different from traditional 2-D (two-dimension) animation movie. The toys and ... ...concentrate on the 3-D animation development but also the story. I really hope that they can produce more movies. In fact they didn't disappoint me at all after Toy Story (1995). A Bug's life and Toy Story II really have proven Disney's highest place in animation movie markets. ...

Advantages: great animation for the time, something new and refreshing, great casting, funny +entertaining Disadvantages: nothing major
...Introduction The original Toy Story film was released all the way back in 1995 and what a great film it was. I was still in middle school the first time I saw this film and enjoyed it alot. It was something quite fresh and new and was one of the earlier films produced by the partnership of Disney and Pixar. It is classed as a computer animated family film and features the voices of some star names. It was actually the first feature length film to ... ...they were action figures, dolls, soldiers, toy cars etc... But what if toys were real? What if they could talk? This is the premise of the film. Plot The film is a story about a little boy named Andy who loves to be in his room, playing with his toys, especially one named "Woody" the cowboy. What Andy does not know is that the toys come to life when he is not around them. Woody believes that he has life (as a toy) good. That is until an action figure ...

...film you have to admit Toy Story is pretty good, in fact, it's brilliant. It's the best animated film ever. Not just made for kids but adults to, or perhaps I am just a big kid???
The idea of the story (as if you didn't know) is that a group of toys, who are close friends of course, get a new addition, Buzz Lightyear. Woody the cowboy gets jealous and they fall out - fight - make friends again - the end. Of course it's drawn out a bit more.
And ... ...Tim Allen and they are all brilliant.
I remember the year this film came out (I am feeling old now) and everyone wanted a Buzz Lightyear or a Woody for Xmas. Working in Woolies at the time it was a nightmare, got about 50 people asking a day for them. What do you think we do hide them away? (I got really annoyed with it, so did the other 20 staff members who got asked).
The soundtrack is just one of those funny ones, nothing that's going to reach ...

Looking into the future is a rare event - watching this film is one of those rare events. With the success of this film, it really must point strongly towards the direction annimation films will take in the future. So whats so special about it?
For a start, the annimation, all processed on computer, is absolutely mindblowing! For a whole movie of this length to be produced with this level of detail is quite an achievement. It really is the first ... ...are really brought to life by the annimation - superb.
The story line is also pretty hot - keeps you gripped all the way through. Voices are again another strong point of this film - the coordination between voice and annimation is smack on, again adding the almost realistic effect created, which brings the charactors to life.
With much humour, mainly from the subtleties in annimation, and all else discussed above, this has to be classed as one ...

Advantages: great disney classic Disadvantages: Little predictable
...have always been excellent, however, Toy Story was the start of a new generation of animated films. The Disney and Pixar relationship has brought several outstanding blockbusters during their partnership and one was Toy Story, released in 1995.
Toy Story is about the situations that would occur if toys were not "toys" but real living things. As children we are encouraged to stretch our imagination and one of the most natural ways of doing so is ... ...fact the life of one toy in particular, Woody, an old stuffed cowboy toy who is Andy's favourite toy, well normally. We soon see that its Andy's birthday and the toys are nervous because they think they are going to be replaced by a newer model! They are toys after all. To the toys discussed a new toy is given to Andy as a gift, Buzz Light-year, a space ranger toy, who does not think he is a toy.
Buzz Light-year thinks he can fly but in actual fact ...

~STORY/PLOT~
Toy Story basically tells the story of a bunch of toys which belong to a little boy (Andy). But these toys are not just any old toys you know! They have life, and through probably one of Walt Disney's most imaginative motion pictures, everyone (adults too) can experience the fun and adventure!
So when Andy has a birthday party and receives a flashy new toy in the form of a "space ranger" called Buzz, (Woody (the pull-string ... ...outrageously funny tiff between the two of them. They are both competing for the top spot in the heart of their young owner.
However, whilst Andy is moving house, they are accidently whisked away from home and into the clutches of the neighbourhood bully. This forces the two of them to work together as a team in order to escape his clutches. The other toys give a helping hand while Buzz and Woody unite in friendship for an amazing journey home!! ...
