...of the DVD boxset of This Life, a cult drama from the mid 90s based on a group of cohabiting twentysomethings in central London, mostly involved in starting their careers in law. For people of a certain age, this is a welcome reminder of their 20s, and seeing the friends a decade on in this setting is quite interesting.

It's a rather unlikely scenario on the face of it; law isn't exactly the most sexy profession you can think of, and there is in fact very little seen of clients or courts. Many scenes are played out in the offices (or chambers as they appear to be called, I'm no legal expert). The house is where most of the action is though, and it's really all about how the characters interact ...

Finally!!!, fans of this series may know what im talking about, we have been waiting so long for a full and complete boxset to become available. We have had videos and DVD's be launched and deleted and overall if you managed to own all of them on DVD before now you were a lucky chappy indeed.
The basic proxy is a group of 20 somethings living in a house in London basically go through and doing what 20 somethings do. It involves careers (mostly in ... ...downside i can see to this boxset is that there are 8 discs and 3 of this have less than 3 45minute episodes on them?? bizrre but does mean you a very pretty 8 disc set.
Overall fans will love it, new comers will either be pleasantly surprised and fans for life or baffled and confused at how anyone sits and watches so much of something where nothing seems to happen, in my opinion absolute genius and well worth watching ...
