Advantages: Death defying stunts and slapstick humour! Disadvantages: Some scenes are pointless! and story is very ordinary
Following the legendary Drunken Master and Snake in the eagle's shadow, Jackie returned to typical Hong Kong classics. Jackie shows us some death defying stunts.
Movie Synopsis There are two orphan brothers, one of which is played by Jackie Chan. Chan is constantly blamed for his brother's misdemeanors and his brother is consequently found out by their sensei (master) and immediately chucked out of the dojo (training for fighting school, where challenges ... ...the pursuit of his brother...
Jackie was excellent in this movie and it showed how his slapstick humour and death defying stunts go hand in hand. One particular scene entered the record books, as it required over 300 takes. This not only shows Chan's development as an actor, but it also shows how patient he can be ( I would get too frustrated and quit.)
In conclusion this movie must be seen only by Hong Kong humour loving movie watchers....!!!!!!! ...

...classic Jackie Chan collector's edition. The genre mixes diversely between action and comedy and strikes out a prefect balance. This movie made me laugh alot, however it also intensified me during action scenes. Jackie Chan uniquely used ordinary day objects such as chairs, fans and tables to show why he truly is the 'Young Master!'
This movie has been lavishly choreographed and directed by Jackie Chan...thus we see Chan's brand of jesting humour ... ...brother Lo (Wei Pak) is the dojo master's best pupil. However Lo deceives everyone and pretends to be injured and dances for a rival school in an annual 'dragon dance' (truly entertaining scene). Following this incident his master goes to confront Lo and finds Lo with a prostitute. Lo is expelled from the martial arts school and Lung decides to seek Lo and compensate for his wrongdoing. However, along the way Lo meets bad company and aids them ,with ...

Advantages: Classic Chan, outstanding fights and quite funny Disadvantages: As with most Chan films, the story isn't brilliant - but that isn't why we watch them
...Master you will love this!
The DVD, for me, was a steal at £8.99. The fighting sequences are long and, as you woul expect, the choreography is excellent.
The story? Well here's the general waft of it, when Dragon (Jackie Chan) tries to save his brother from a life of crime and through a case of mistaken identity finds himself on the wrong side of the law! Ending in a 20 minute end battle of tense action. But lets be honest, the story doesn't matter. ...
