...I've only just started buying the nine series on DVD. It's true, I do have the complete collection of the "specials" on VHS, but I always felt that the DVD boxsets were a tad too expensive. But not anymore, while looking for something to spend my Amazon vouchers on, I discovered they were selling this the first season, for a very reasonable £19.99 I couldn't resist. The first season of the xfiles really set the mark for alot programs scince,when it first came to our screens it was pretty unique and told different stories about paranormal and alien events and brought them to life on our screensl.Scully and mulder investigate these weirdl events together and also grow as people together and season one is where it all starts its definatley a classic. It is strange to think that the X Files is more than 10 years old, however it does not look dated and still retains the ability to intrigue the viewer.
