The wedding singer isn’t bad as far as comedy romance films go. There really is some great acting in it and it’s been very well directed too. It’s maybe a little a little slow but I think it mainly focuses on playing late sixties and early seventies songs and bringing them up to the present day. I suppose it is worth watching, I have to confess that it was probably about a year ago that I saw it so I don’t remember enough. Watch it and see for yourself, ...

Advantages: Relive the 1980s Disadvantages: OAP love
...is on un-annoying form as the guy who sings at weddings, while Drew Barrymore is at her cutest as the waitress. The film is a gently love comedy, but is supported by a wonderful 1980s retro setting. The music is a blast, and the guys' fluorescent socks say it all really. The characters are nicely played by the two leads, and there are some great moments of humour (see the part where the wedding singer becomes the bar mitzvah singer). It could have ...
