Advantages: Brilliant fight sequences Disadvantages: A good but occasionally weak storyline which can rely on the action a bit too much
The Transporter is the first in the trilogy of brilliant action movies starring Jason Statham, The Transporter is followed Transporter 2 (2005 ) & the aptly named Transporter 3 (2008) which I am yet to see. However I?m here to talk about the film that started it all, The Transporter was released 2nd October 2002 & was greeted with a mixed reception from the critics, the film had an average of a 53% rating which means just over half of the critics ... ...Despite it?s average reception the film did quite well at the box office, grossing an estimated $43,928,932 on a budget of $20,900,000. The Transporter is rated a 15 which is to be expected & it runs for approximately 94 minutes. The Transporter is directed by Louis Leterrier & Corey Yuen. Louis Leterrier is most famous for directing this film, the first sequel & Fearless, a martial arts film starring Jet Li & Morgan Freeman. Corey Yuen, the more ...

Frank Martin (Jason Statham), aka The Transporter, a former soldier who has seemingly 'retired' turns up with his black BMW 750 at the oddest places, namely a bank robbery, where he is the driver. We get introduced to him in a garage, where we find out he is very precise and follows three special rules, one of which is: Never open the package. Well, after he completes the bank robbery mission he gets called up to pick up and deliver another mystery ... ...his own rules)he does open the package...and promptly gets into a lot of trouble. First his car goes up in flames, then his house and in between the Marseille police wonders what he really is up to. And the lucky viewer gets a viewing treat in Shu Qui, a beautiful asian actress who plays Martins damsel in distress. Its a nonstop, fast paced ...

Advantages: great action packed movie Disadvantages: short film
this film is the story of Frank (played by Jason Statham) who for a living is a transporter of various items and sometimes people. so far his career is going well and he has built up a nice life for himself until one fine day he makes the mistake of breaking one of his 3 rules he looks in the package and he finds a young woman called Lai. the trouble then begins because the people for whom he is transporting this person (who is a v.bad actress) realise ... ...himself and Lai. overall the story is very easy to figure out and yes the acting isnt very good but i still think this film deserves a good rating because the faction scenes in this movie are the best ive ever seen. the car chases, the various objects being blown and the choreography of the fight scenes are great and in the end make this film very enjoyable to watch. ...
