I first watched the Terminator when I was far to young a couple of nightmares later i was a big fan. The atmosphere the film has is incredible, Arnie is at his hardest and was born for this role. ...did not even care about the special effects when watching it, due to its original and superd plot, and outstanding character casting. Arnold Schwarzenegger is basically the "Terminator" because of this film and the films that followed this film. as a fan of the terminator, i found it easy to give this product a good rating. i have watched all of theese films and i would recomend them to anyone. i found the films an easy watch with really good action scenes and this edition is packed with extras.

Advantages: Fast moving action and good story line
Disadvantages: None at all

Basically man has created AI (artificial intelligence) which decided it wanted rid of us pesky humans so it sets off lots of nuclear bombs to eradicate us. But as we normally do humans fight back. For many people, myself included, this is the best of all the Terminator films. Dark, brooding and in your face in a way not recaptured in the sequels. An essential purchase on DVD.
