Of course, after several mishaps, adventures and of course many, many rousing songs, love blossoms and the final scene is of the family disappearing off into the mountains to escape from the Nazis. I'm sure my sister and I drove our mother mad with our varying renditions of those songs, and I must say, I can still be heard occasionally humming the tunes which are very addictive ...
