The Snowman is an animated film directed by Dianne Jackson and released in 1982 (twenty six years ago!). The film has a very simple storyline which consists of a little boy building a snowman and the snowman coming to life. Simple yet very effective. I first seen this film when I was about seven or eight when I borrowed the VHS from my friend. I loved it ever since.
