See it more than once!

Advantages: A superb twist - a geuinely creepy film
Disadvantages: Watch it carefully and you'll spot continuity errors

...start to get involved with the relationship between Willis and the little kid (sorry, forget his name) and the relationship between Willis and wife, and kid and mother as the little lad slowly opens up to the problems he is facing. I won’t spoil the twist in the tale for you but to say that it is that well hidden that when it comes to it, the whole cinema latched on at exactly the same time, you could here everybody going “Ahhhh, I see now..”. See ...

THE SIXTH SENSE - WHAT A FILM

Advantages: INTELLIGENT / HAS A SPECIAL ATMOSPHERE / SUPERB ACTING
Disadvantages: NONE

...you several screenings to get the total impact of this film. I won’t spoil the film for you by telling you what happens. All I can say is that this film is one of those special, atmospheric, totally engrossing films that grabs you from the start. It has an uneasy feel throughout, but I would not class this as a horror film. It’s more a study on our views of dying. The main actors are superb especially Bruce Willis (without one of his DIE HARD vests ...

A sensitive Bruce Willis?!

Advantages: Well written with a superb twist
Disadvantages: Not hugely scary

...he begins his investigation into the claims of a young boy that he sees dead people. Though not particularly scary, the plot thickens as the film continues and Willis realises there is more to this than meets the eye. Well written, with a shocking twist at the end, this is one of Willis' better recent roles. And be warned: this is *definitely* a movie you will want to see a second time! ...

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

The makers of The Sixth Sense billed it as a horror film, yet it contains no special effects whatsoever. It was put together on a very low budget, thankfully though, somewhat larger than the one The Blair Witch Project received. They even managed to cast Bruce Willis in the lead role of Malcolm Crow a child psychologist, who after a violent attack by one of his previous clients is trying to correct is old mistakes by helping a small child, Cole Sear ...
...psychic and telekinetic powers. The authorities seem to think that is could be child abuse because of scratches on his arms, however Cole knows that the truth is that he sees ghosts and it is they who scratch him as they are trying to get his attention. Bruce Willis is back at his best in this role, thankfully leaving a number of lacklustre films behind him, but his certainly isn't the brightest star of the film, that goes to eleven year of Haley ...

Excellant!!!

Advantages: It keeps you interested and curious all through the film
Disadvantages: It's spooky and not everyones taste. Can be upsetting to some people.

...thought this was one of the best movies I have ever seen. The actors were superb, the story was chilling and the twist was unexpected. This film is ideal for anyone with a passion for chilling tales, spooky stuff or anything that is unexplained. The storyline was really good and kept you interested all the way through the film, it sent shivers down my spine and the twist near the end was just the icing on the cake. There isn't much violence or ...

THE SIXTH SENSATIONAL!!!

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

The Sixth sense was a gripping, exciting and in parts gruesome film about a young boy who can see ghosts. His life is tormented by the fact that everyday he is faced with the sight and sounds of the dead. Mel Gibson gave a very moving portrayal of the boy's psychiatrist, and is first to realise that all the ghosts want is someone to talk to and solve the occasional 'after death problem' that may be unresolved.I thought this was THE BEST film of the ...

...whopping great twist right at the end that stands the whole thing on its head. Suddenly you are left realising that nothing was as it seemed, but because you weren't expecting it, you've forgotten some of the detail. If you're one of those sticklers who has to make sure everything fits, then you'll have to watch it again. Personally I couldn't be bothered. I mean it's a good film, but it's not as great as the media hype suggested it was going to ...
...and tired, the script is a little cliche. What is fantastic is the acting. The young boy who has the sixth sense has to be the most mature child actor I have ever seen, which adds its own kind of spookiness to the film. And Willis, not down to his vest for once, proves that he can turn in a well acted performance without having to blow anything up. See it once. And I suspect it will improve at a second viewing, but the question is whether it's worth ...

Twists n Turns

Advantages:
Disadvantages:

The Sixth Sense is a good movie based on a little child that sees dead people walking around like regular people. Occasionally we get to see what he does and the visions sometimes appear to be quite scary. But rather than being frightening the film comes across as being more gruesome than anything else. The plot is terrific and overall this is a very good film to watch. There is one excellent twist in the film which puts the entire movie into perspective. ...

...there was a twist to the film, I didn't guess it and found the whole film thoroughly enjoyable with an amazing end. Watching it a second time was just as enjoyable even though I knew the end. It was a matter of knowing the twist, explained certain things that happened. Haley Joel Osment was excellent as the haunted little boy who captured my heart. The overall acting was good and the plot riviting and exciting - if not a bit shocking in places, but ...

WHAT A TWIST!!!

Advantages: Great acting, great story and incredible twist at the end.
Disadvantages: Drags on in some scenes

This is one of the first films that combines horror with drama. And it does it brilliantly. This film is creepy without being gory and scary without being stupid. Bruce Willis gives the best performance of his career, portraying the boy's psychologist absolutely brilliantly. He deserved an Oscar nomination in my opinion. Haley Joel Osment gives an excellent performance, as he was not nominated for an Oscar for nothing. He plays the tortured young ...

Spooky Thriller

Advantages: Good acting from the young lad
Disadvantages: Not much going on

The problem I had with this film was that everybody said there was a big twist which would make you make you look at the whole film with a new perspective afterwards. I didn't really think that was the case. I guess I watched it, knowing there was a twist, but worked out what the twist was during the first scene. The film begins with successful child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis) getting a bit of a shock by the sudden reappearance ...
...save Cole, not only for the boy's sake, but for his own redemption. The boy gives a convincing performance as the young chap plagued by spirits. It's kind of creepy and unsettling in places. I guess if you hadn't sussed the twist, it might wow you at the end, but personally it held no big surprises for me. ...

Not a clue what his name is of course, the one that's not Bruce Willis anyways (who by the way was not bad in this, one of the better Bruce Willis films I'd say) but back to the wee guy. I love him.
