The ending is purely wonderful and will make you want to rewind it and watch it over again straight away. Once is definitly not enough for this beautiful piece of work, the second time is a whole new experience.

Advantages: Its amazing and clever Disadvantages: Um...none I think
The sixth sense is amazing.! The story is excellent and everyone knows that it has a twist, and that twist is analysed very well in the dvd by the director. The extra scenes are without doubt the best of any dvd out there and the director shows you several scenes that were removed, explains why and leads you through the other key points of the film to truly highlight the cleverness of the whole set-up. The story is about a child psychologist who ... ...be even more impressed. The performance by Haley Joel Osment is undeniably one of the best child performances you have and will ever see. Bruce Willis performs well although perhaps not as well as all the critics have been claiming. If you only buy one DVD make it this one. ...

When I heard about the film the Sixth Sense, I thought great, as this is the type of movie's I like to watch. So I rented the film, bought the popcorn and switched off the lights.
The story starts with Dr Malcolm Crowe(Bruce Willis) and his wife returning home from a reward dinner for his achievements in child psychology. After a glass of wine they head up stairs where they encounter a man whom Malcolm had failed to help as a child. This ends in ... ...one. Until he finds the courage to tell Malcolm he has been seeing dead people.
This leads to Malcolm believing in Cole after replaying recordings of the boy he thought he had helped and later appeared at his home a year ago. He turns the volume to max and hears the voices of people whom where not in the room at the time. He goes to see Cole and suggests that maybe the ghosts are trying to tell him something, so he decides to find out. The first ...

...brilliantly well written movie had the ability to keep the audience entertained and enthralled, then shatter their beliefs as the end makes the mother of all twist. **BRIEF PLOT**
When child psychologist, Doctor Malcolm Crowe, (played by Bruce Willis) and his wife Anna, (played by Olivia Williams) return home one night they discover that one of Crowe's previous patients, now grown up and very bitter, is hiding in the shadows.
A fight breaks out ... ...a new case, listening to the troubles of a child, Cole Sear, (played by Haley Joel Osment) and it is not long before Malcolm becomes obsessed with the case.
It seems that Cole is being haunted by dead people and is a very frightened boy, telling Malcolm, "I see dead people".
Cole seems to be going through his young life seeing ghost at every turn, some ghost from years before, other ghosts are more recent, some even from that day but all the ghost ...

...it to see what all the fuss is about and what this great 'twist' at the end was. I was very pleased with the overall storyline and film as a whole but guessed the twist about half way through the film and so it somehow spoilt the rest of the film for me.
It's all about a young boy called Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment), who has the terrifying ability to see dead people (his sixth sense no less). He is quite disturbed by this, you would be too, and ... ...however is still haunted by the past, he had a similar child patient with the same problems who he failed to help and so he strives not to let the same happen to Cole. The storyline is gripping throughout the film and although it starts off fairly slow it soon gathers momentum and has you on the edge of your seat. There is that 'twist' at the end of the film that makes this film different to any other in the same league. Many people i know didn't ...

The film "The Sixth Sense" has been a highly approved film to watch and buy. The title is smart with the sixth sense becuase the sixth sense is to see dead people, whereas normal humans only have 5 senses. Anyway, the twist at the end has been the biggest twist I have seen. The film altogether is one of the best films I have seen. I think that The Sixth Sense is one of a kind, I personally haven't seen anything like this before. The story before ...

You go to the movies quite often or at least watch a lot of TV. You think you've seen it all. You don't look for originality in the plot. It's all been done, after all. You're happy when you don't know the plot/outcome after five minutes.
The Sixth Sense is for you. And no mistake about it.
Actually, I'm sorry I'm focusing on the plot so much. Because while the ending truly stunned me (Why haven't I seen it coming?) I mustn't neglect to mention ... ...I mainly connect him with the Die Hard series or the TV series Moonlighting which didn't exactly call for great acting. Here, though, he portrays Dr. Malcolm Crowe very subtly, very subdued. Lovingly portrayed, Dr. Crowe truly is convincing as the child psychiatrist who desperately tries to help this little boy, Cole Sear (Haley Joel Osment).
Which brings us to the second or rather first eminently gifted performance. You watch Haley Joel Osment, ...

Advantages: An excellent narrative with many twists. Disadvantages: May need to watch it more than once.
...plotted supernatural thriller. Right from the start I was gripped by the twisting story line, hanging onto everyword the characters said, especially Bruce Willis who showed he doesn't need guns and explosions to show us how good he really is. Basically the story is about a young boys who has a sixth sense......he can see dead people. Bruce Willis who plays a well respected doctor decides to help the boy.
This film really does have everything a great ... ...Unlike many other films The Sixth Sense doesn't start with a state of equilibrium (all is as it should be) we are immediately thrown into the plot and realise something is not right. 'Haley Joel Osment' plays the boy magnificently in the film he really adds to the character and helps to develop the narrative.
But we must not forget to praise Olivia Williams for her role in the male leaded film who plays Bruce Willis's wife.
The plot line twists ...

I have just seen The Sixth Sense on Sky Movies. It was my first time, having not had the time to see it before now. I am so glad that no one had told me about the plot………..
Dr Malcolm Crowe played by Bruce Willis has won an award, as a top child psychologist he has become a ‘son’ of Philadelphia. The same night he is celebrating his award with his wife Anna (Olivia Williams) he is visited by a former patient Vincent ... ...Joel Osment). Cole has the same problems that Vincent had in that he has extreme anxiety; relationship problems and his parents are divorced too. Cole’s mum Lynn (Toni Collette) is at her wits end, and doesn’t know what to do for the best.

The “Sixth Sense” is a horror/thriller about a young boy called Cole Sear, played by the excellent Haley Joel Osment (previously seen in “Forrest Gump”) who has an unusual gift allowing him to see dead people, a ”Sixth Sense” (obviously!). This disturbs him (understandably!) and he seeks the help of a child psychologist Dr. Malcolm Crowe (Bruce Willis – anyone heard of “Die Hard”?). Crowe had ... ...is determined not to make the same mistakes. In case you haven’t seen the film, I won’t go any further as this will reveal too much of the plot and spoil it for you.
The film is acted very well, all credit must go to Willis and Osment for their acting especially the latter who was very good indeed. It would have been easy for the actors to go over the top with their roles.
This film has one major advantage over many of the recent big ...

Crowe is determined to accomplish for Cole what he could not do for his former patient. (After all, he doesn't want ...
