A great ending, linked to a great beginning.

Advantages: Great storyline, excellent acting.
Disadvantages: None I can think of.

...this film was one of the best films most recently released. The story line was gripping and kept my eyes glued to the screen throughout the whole film. Bruce Willis played an excellent part and was, as usual, a great actor. I think that the storyline was made even more engaging by the fact that he was dealing with a child - I always think a storyline can be made more effective if a child is one of the main characters, especially in this sort of film. ...
...the ending, when it all became apparent what had actually happened in the beginning. I thought this was a great way to wrap up the film and it left me thinking ‘wow, so he was a ghost too!’. I really enjoyed this film - so much so that after I saw it at the cinema, I couldn’t wait for it to be released to rent and was first in the queue when it was. ...

"I see dead people" - The Sixth Sense

Advantages: Great twisting plot...I thoroughly enjoyed it =)
Disadvantages: None!!

...'''I See Dead People!''' - The Sixth Sense == In my opinion, sad, sympathising and a little chilling are my words to describe this movie. The Sixth Sense (released in 1999) is about a 9 year old boy, Cole Sear, (played by Haley Joel Osment) who has an illness that no-one knows of. Dr. Malcom Crowe (played by Bruce Willis) on the other hand, is a child psychologist, who receives an award on the same night he is "visited" by an unhappy ex-patient. ...
...just so happens to have the same illness as the ex-patient. Will Malcom overcome his encounter with his ex-patient? Will little Cole be cured of his illness?? What is Cole's illness that seems so uncurable? The great thing about this movie is that it is realistic. As an audience you might expect something to happen later on in the movie, but quite the opposite takes place. Suspense, twisting and touching are three words i can think of to describe ...

...am not going to spoil the plot, but this is such a brilliant film and has a twist at the end which you will be surprised about and think it was so obvious. I’m not going to say anymore. The acting is excellent, Haley Osment is so good for a kid, he does the emotional scenes really well. Show maturity beyond is years as my teacher used to say. Bruce Willis plays a child psychologists and is also very good in the movie. You have to buy this video don’t ...

Great Masterpiece of Shymalan

Advantages: Great horror movie.

...of his except this one, The Sixth Sense. After watching this movie in the cinema, the first sentense came out in my mind is "WHAT A GREAT FILM OF MILLENIUM". I consider it is a horror movie because I was really scared out of the hell. However it is different from other scary movies - no bloody scenes and no very disgusting or irritating scences. The fear is brought out in the atmosphere by the flow of the movie. My mind was really concentrated totally ...
...even a single second of the movie. I wanted to know everything in the movie - what happened just now, what would happen next, why this happened and so forth. I was carried by the movie. Bruce Willis is a surprise to me. I always like his movie and I always recognized him as an action movie actor like Die Hard and funny actor like The Whole Nine Yards. However here in this movie, he was totally different. He really has other potentials in acting ...

A Story With A Twist

Advantages: A Story With A Twist
Disadvantages: Not Really A Horro As Suggested

...film, while on holiday in the USA. A friend bought it on DVD. If you like a film with a twist, you'll love this film. Considering it's rated as a horror movie, I didn't find anything frightening about it. It's very similar to Ghost, although Bruce Willis acts the part a lot better than Patrick Swayze did. Bruce Willis plays a psychiatric doctor, who sees this 9 year old boy, who says "I see dead people". The film revolves around this boy, and Bruce ...

Advantages: Its a must
Disadvantages: Better seen with a friend, so you can discuss it after

This review is like the film, its worth reading again after you've seen it. I promise I have not revealed the twist. I can honestly say I haven't enjoyed a film so much in ages. We used to go to the cinema twice a week. Used to see every film going it felt. Then the kids arrived and the cinema stopped. I have in the past two years been to the cinema 3 times, Toy Story 2, The Tigger Movie and Thomas and The Magic Railroad. Then came the wonders of ...
...Sense rates the best. Why I hear you ask. Two reasons, its a great film which literally made the hair on my neck stand on end. Bits of it reminded me of the kid on the bike in the Shining. Then comes the end, I got the twist seconds before the reveal. The second reason are the extras. I documentary which shows the story leading up to the twist, allows you to see what you didn't know you had seen. This will make perfect sense when you've seen the ...

There is no need to put a summary of the plot here, unless you have lived on the moon for the last 18 months you’ll know enough about the film to decide if it is your cup of tea. ...movie go-er, and only rent the odd film when I'm at a lose end. I'd seen an ad for it, and as I've always had a soft spot for Bruce Willis (hope my other half doesn't read this), I thought why not. And why not in deed. It was an amazing film. The plot kicks off from the word go, you just don't realise it. Bruce is seen as a child psychiatrist helping a young lad who has "visions". I won't spoil the plot by going into great detail, but watch closely, ...

Super

Advantages: Lots of extra stuff
Disadvantages: May not watch many times

The Sixth Sense has to be one of the finest DVDs available at this time. It is packed fully of extra material, from deleted scenes to discussions about the characters, the actors, the music and other subtle elements of the film. All of these are well presented and commented upon by its director M. Night Shyamalan. The film itself is difficult to review, and is best left for you to enjoy without a spoiler from me. I can only describe it as a rollercoaster ...

The Sixth Sense- Absolutely brilliant

Advantages: Excellent story line, great acting, original!
Disadvantages: None I can think of.

Can you believe the film is 10 years old. I can't remember how many times I have seen it. This film has me laughing, crying, sitting on the edge of the sofa and I'm sure the first time I saw it I was behind the sofa. Haley Joel Osment, who plays a little boy who can see dead people was so well casted for this role. His sweet innocent little face made every word he said completely believable. Bruce Willis for me has never really made a bad film but ...
...warming. It is the type of film which gets better each time you watch it as there are so many things that you might have missed the first time. It's a film which has a clever story line but doesn't exhaust the brain at the same time. One to watch over and over

Advantages: Thought provoking,gripping and touching.
Disadvantages: none

From the title of this film you would be fooled in to thinking of a horror or some deep dark cult film. What Sixth sense actually provides is a spellbinding journey of suspense full of twists and turns, which fianly climaxes in an ending that will have you saying to the screen" oh yeah! wow! I get it!" then you will most likely watch the film again. The Film is set in Philidelphia, U.S.A, and is about a child psychcologist named Malcolm Crowe played ...

You see many excellent scences between Cole and his mother, and he does seem a disturbed little boy, so you guess that his mum has seeked help for him. Soon Cole trusts the Dr with his secret, he can see dead people, ghosts are always around him, and he is terrified and does not understand why this happening. Dr Crowe soon believes in Cole and works ...

Disadvantages: Slow at the start

When a movie climbs to the top of the cinema charts thanks to word of mouth rather than hype you know its got to be special. When people head back to watch it a second and third time you know its nothing less than an all time classic. Now released on DVD, The Sixth Sense initially seems extraordinary low key, with Bruce Willis in his most impressive performance as a child psychologist troubled by a former patient. When he meets Cole a child haunted ...
