I loved the soundtrack LONG before I ever got to see the movie. It was about 24 years ago. People moved in across from me, from South Africa, and the family brought with them the LP. I fell in love with "T t t t t touch me", long before I ever saw the movie for the first time and fell in love with the whole thing. One day, I promise myself, I WILL get to watch the stage show! If the audience gets half as involved as the crowds who flock to midnight ...

This is the ultimate movie experience. It is a mix of sci-fi, horror and fantasy. It is the story of a normal couple whose car breaks down and the seek help at a nearby castle. The caslte is home to Dr. Frank-n-Furter who is a mad scientist from the planet of Transexual Transalvania. They arrive on 'a rather special night' when one of Dr. Furters creations is to be born. There are lots of fantastic songs to sing along with including 'The Time Warp' ...
...The film stars Tim Curry as Frank-n-Furter, Richard O'Brien (its creator) as Riff Raff and Meatloaf as Eddie. Don't miss an appearance by Christopher Biggins. If you think that the film is good then if you ever get chance you should see it at the theatre. They have full audience participation which is fantastic. This is THE all time great cult movie bar none. Watch it in awe, and then watch it again...and again...and again, and if that's not enough try and go to see a live performance - it will blow you away. ...beyond all homages before! From the moment Tim Curry appears on screen and mentions the words "Oh Rocky!" you can't help but love it! For a sweet transvestite from transexual translvania the story is carry out through every conceivable plot a B movie every contained.. ...what the hell is going on, but do stick with it! This is a pure homage to all B movies and rock 'n' roll, containing enough in jokes to keep many a fan happy. While I could go into detail into what actually happens in the story, I refuse to spoil any of it. Instead all I really want to say is that while it starts to show it's age gradually, somehow I don't think this film will every really die... it'll still be the choice of many a camp midnight ...

...is not a film for the faint hearted - i came across this at the age of 10 and have been hooked eversince. A combination of transexuals, dancing, aliens, insanity and general bedlam - Richard O'brien (creater of the rocky horror picture show - also famed for appearences on tvs crystal maze - we cant all have it good!) made something hat changed the lives of many people- some still live their lives with this film as the basis of everything they do ...
...you have to love them! ...evening. I had heared of the Rocky Horror Show but did not realise that it had such a massive cult following. I joined the long wait to get in and felt a bit out of place as I was the only one not dressed up. On the way everyone was buying water pistols and rice so I followed by doing the same although I was not really sure as to why. The theater was packed and very noisey untill the film started then there was a deathely silence as every one waited ...
...the start and the heaven opened with rice as confettie. We then went to the scene where the car runs out of petrol and Brad and Janet make a break for the nearby castle in the rain, I then found out waht the warter pistols were for and got soaked. The film then just went from better to better. Tim Currys apperance as Frank N Furter was unbeatable and the creator Richard O'Brien as Riff Raff was fantastic.
