There are a few scenes that have dirt but overall itis vibrant and has no trouble with the many dark scenes in the film. Sound wise it's a treat. There is a Dolby 2.0 mix but the real draws are the Dolby 5.1 mix and the DTS mix. This is another one of the definitive action films of recent years (interestingly enough Nic Cage seems to have been in most of them... Con Air, Face Off etc). This has a plot which at best defies plausability and at worst is total nonsense... luckily it doesn't matter. The action is excellent as are the cast. To summarise ...
