Must be in the Top 10 Comedies of all time

Advantages: A classic pairing of two classic actors
Disadvantages: I`m sure there are a few for you nit-pickers out there.

I shall then write a review of the one I enjoyed the best - "The Odd Couple" ! Being a busy person,I get very little chance to visit the ...

I was very pleased then to discover in the T.V mags that the BBC would be showing many of the late Jack Lemmon`s films as a tribute to him. Advantages: Classic comedy, great cast and characters, some very funny lines
Disadvantages: May be too dated for some

On the other hand I was very house proud, liked to be neat and tidy and could not abide clutter. Thankfully over the years we have mellowed towards each other but it has taken time. The reference to us as The Odd Couple was as a comparison to the characters in a popular American situation comedy series and ...

THE ODD COUPLE The film was released in 1967 and still had Walter as Oscar but this time around had Jack Lemmon as the stressed out Felix. Oscar is a divorced guy who has got used to living alone, having the boys round occasionally for card games and living like a tramp. ...

Splendid Slapstick

Advantages: Jack Lemmon & Walter Matthau at their best!
Disadvantages: It has a slow ending

...were vitamins! He could be the healthiest one in the room!" The term 'odd couple' has been used for countless films, mostly in buddy cop flicks, such as 'Rush Hour' or 'Shanghai Noon' as starkly different personalities play off each other so well. 'The Odd Couple' then, of 1968, is the defining moment. Never has there been such a pairing as Felix Ungar and Oscar Madison, one an obsessed health freak, and the other, the laziest slob in the city! ...
...they are kept low until the end, when Oscar ultimately cannot stand his roomate. "You leave me little notes on my pillow. Told you 158 times I can't stand little notes on my pillow. 'We're all out of cornflakes. F.U.' Took me three hours to figure out F.U. was Felix Unger!" This is probably one of the funniest films of certainly the 1960s and perhaps of all time.
