...ourselves used to call us the Odd couple. My husband was extremely untidy, liked to slob around and preferred to live in a very casual manner. The term 'odd couple' has been used for countless films, mostly in buddy cop flicks, such as 'Rush Hour' or 'Shanghai Noon' as starkly different personalities play off each other so well. 'The Odd Couple' then, of 1968, is the defining moment. Never has there been such a pairing as Felix Ungar and Oscar Madison, one an obsessed health freak, and the other, the laziest slob in the city! ...
