...Tim Burton is set in the scary world of Halloween where ghosts and ghouls are everyone's favourite. It was first written as a poem by Burton inspired of course by The Night Before Christmas written by Clement Clarke Moore which we will all be familiar with to some extent. ...film is a cinematic masterpiece. The juxter-position of is flawless stop-motion photography and beautiful sound track leave the viewer wanting to watch this film again and again. The Nightmare Before Christmas is a masterpiece from Tim Burton. Although it may not be one of his best known productions, this animation film really is a brilliant example of Tim Burton's bizzare imagination. ...was released in 1994 in the UK. It is an animated stop motion picture, written by Tim Burton, who is also responsible for huge films such as Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice. Sorry about the awful title by the way! This animated film from Director Tim Burton has gathered a kind of cult following since its release in 1993, especially within the goth community. Its creepy, skeletal look is truly unique, and its fair to say that this is one of my favourite films ever! Disadvantages: May scare very young or sensitive audiences

...an excellent family musical animation. The precursor to Tim Burton's "Corpse Bride" (although similar in genre not linked in story) this film is actually better. Both are magical, musical stop motion films meant for the whole family, but this film has better, catchier songs and is generally superior.
