Not you, Naan Bread!
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by Seresecros

Advantages: Inspired, genius, surreal comedy. Great fun.
Disadvantages: Many jokes just die on their legs, and some of the acting is a mite wooden

...Through Time And Space…… It's actually the Law to start a review of The Mighty Boosh is such a fashion. The second series of The Mighty Boosh is a step up for the duo, but a step down for the budget. For some reason, as we find in the extras, the budget was downgraded after the first series, leaving even less money for Noel's hair than there was during the first series. However, this hasn't dimmed the Boosh's vision for comedy: if anything it's ... Read review

Do you want to see my man-gina?
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by l-m-n-o-p

Advantages: It's wacky, surreal and still really funny
Disadvantages: But not as good as the sublime first series

...Or gone searching through the desert for a "new sound" and turned into an eagle? Or accidentally summoned up an evil granny demon when looking through a book of black magic? No? Well, it's all in a day's work for Howard Moon and Vince Noir, in this, the second series of their hit comedy show The Mighty Boosh. The main premise is that Vince (Noel Fielding) and Howard (Julien Barratt) are now musicians in their own right, after moving away from the ... Read review

Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by emi_angel

Advantages: very funny, different, great characters and songs
Disadvantages: need more episodes

The series even sees Vince with a new hairstyle as well as faces from the past. Background The series has been written and also stars Noel Fielding and Julian Barratt. Mighty Boosh has been on stage shows, a BBC radio series and a BBC Three TV series. The show first appeared at the Edinburgh Festival ... Read review

"What will you do when it comes to the crunch"
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by Davidhutt

Advantages: 6 of the best boosh episodes, much better comedy than the first series
Disadvantages: no to evryone taste

The Mighty Boosh are a British comedy group made up of Julian Barratt, Noel Fielding, Rich Fulcher, Bollo, and Michael Fielding. They are a cult comedy show that originally started on stage displaying their crazy and often psychotic comedy and plots. They soon made it to the television with two series on the BBC. The name apparently comes from a remark that Michael Fielding’s friend made about his once curly hair where he referred to it as the ‘Might ... Read review

They call it a "trip-com"
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by rebeccaadams

Advantages: Great costumes, music, and laughs
Disadvantages: Not QUITE as good as the first series

...but brilliant comedy, one of the best out there at the moment, and anyone into silly, slightly surreal yet witty humour will appreciate it immensely. The Mighty Boosh follows the lives of two zoo keepers, Howard Moon (Barrat) the jazz lover and intellectual, and Vince Noir (Fielding), "rock ponce" and cheeky cockney, who always end up in strange, magical and musical adventures. *Background to the Boosh* The Boosh started over six years ago in ... Tourist to the crunch
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by charlie-clough

Advantages: Funny, Innovative, Well scripted
Disadvantages: Can be a bit hit and miss

The Mighty Boosh was introduced to me only a few months ago by my boss and a few colleagues at work. At the time, we had a plasma screen in the office, and so managed to squeeze in a couple of episodes each lunchtime. At the end of the week, I was hooked. It's an innovative show with - as I soon realised - a large, but somewhat underground following. It's not a show that is banded around the office the morning after a viewing - you really have to ... Series Two
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by antm52

Advantages: It's developed more since the first series and now boasts of more perculier characters.
Disadvantages: Episode Two

This series is better than the first, despite having two episodes less. You don't need to watch the first series to understand this one - as there is no continuation of storylines through the shows. It still has many odd characters and storylines, which are all, bar one, excellently done. The series kicks off with flat-mates Howard Moon and Vince Noir, whom are no-longer Zookeepers since the Zooniverse was blown up, going away on a trip, which sees ... Read review

Coming at you, like a flannel!
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by les_2g2

Advantages: Surreal, great costumes and a real laugh throughout
Disadvantages: There are none IMO

...2. I have now got the 2 sereis plus the live DVD which is quality. Vince Noir and Howard Moon are the two main characters in it and in Series 2 get into some real adventures. They are just so comical together. The Best Boosh episode is 'Nanageddon'. Trying to impress two goff (sp) and ending up fighting off an old grannie( who is very powerful) only Vince and Howard could do that. I also like the Nightmare of Milky Joe' which for some reason, doesn't ... Read review

When You Are The Moon...
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by modwolf

Advantages: Side-Splitingly Hilarious, Imaginative, Fantastic Plots & Characters, Wonderful Costumes.
Disadvantages: Addictive ! Episode 2 (Priest & The Beast) Isn't As Good As The Rest Of The Episodes.

The Boosh is utterly fabulous. You'll never regret buying it, take my word. I adore how most of this is improvised; they're comedy geniuses. I also love how all the costumes look so fake (yes, it is intended). The songs these two make up are hilarious ! The characters are wonderful and imaginative, as are the story lines. The Boosh is surreal and unique; like nothing you've ever seen before ! Get the Live DVD, get the Box Set, get the Radio Series ... Read review

A Must Have!
Review of The Mighty Boosh - Series 2 DVD by Steffi_louise_angel

Advantages: Hillarious continuation of the comic genious!
Disadvantages: The story moves out of the Zoo

If you enjoyed the first series of Mighty Boosh, you certainly wont be dissapointed with this must have series two DVD set! Daring to take the risky humour even further, the comedy duo (Vince Noir and Howard Moon) move out of the Zoo setting, and venture into the world of music, bringing with them favourite characters Bollo and Nabu, and introducing hillarious new faces such as 'Old Greg' the underwater transvestite with an addiction to Baileys and ...
