...he is missing something. Until the day comes that he gets a phone call at work from Morpheous, telling him how to get away from these men in black types but he gets caught by them anyway. The thought just occured to me... was this just a clever way to reinvent superman? I guess we'll find out in the sequels. ...like. This group interacts with the make believe world in the hope of recruiting more like them and to destroy the aliens. Amazing special effects and brilliant acting, even from Keanu! There is even a special feature after the movie, (on video cassette at least), that shows you the behind the scenes details on how they created the special effects. ...to hear it again, because The Matrix is so damn good. I first saw this film in a cinema in America on a ski trip with my school. When the film had finished, everyone was saying how good it was, and how it was THE BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR BY FAR. The special effects are matched by no other film ever made, as they are simply in a league of their own. The sequence of Neo avoiding the bullets is extraordinary, as is the karate training session.
