This was 1 of the most anticipated movies of last year, i have yet to find out why. when this movie was released in cinemas, i thought it would smash box office charts, but it failed to interest anyone. the film starts off really interesting but it begins to lose its plot halfway through. i have to give credit to the wachowski brothers for making such a wonderful amazing car chase scene, it was probably the highlight in the film and the best chase ...
...the plot was very complex and scattered and very few people i know understand the plot. what made the plot complex was that some of the characters were in the matrix fighting and others were in zion. the camera kept cutting to the matrix and zion. this caused confusion in the peoples minds. there was also a huge amont of factual mistakes in the movie. i will not tell you all of them as that will spoil the movie for you but the biggest factual mistakes ...

...to see this film with the mind that i was going to be far more stunning than the first film and I must admit I was a little disappointed. The film took ages to get really started and Iwould say that it only really kicked off in the second hour of the film. Yes, the special effects are good but they are a bit old hat after already seeing a lot of them in the first film. ...could have been one of the best films, unfortunatly the Matrix Re-Loaded fires a blank! Yes the effects are fantastic and it is very difficult to fault any of the actual individual scenes, but unfortunatly when put together into a film it becomes repetative, sometimes confusing and needing that bit too much concentration in a film that is otherwise a lay back and watch scenes repeat themselves. The plot was nice and deep, and gets you thinking about philosophical things (cause and effect, choices, etc..) elaborating on the new responsibilities Neo now faces after he's discovered who he is. After about 30 minutes,I felt that I could have taken the film cut up allthe scenes, replayed them in a random order and i would stillbe none the wiser. The visual effects are stunning (and the producers clearly know this) but go on far to long and we have seen it all before.
