Still hopefully the promising footage of Jurassic Park 3 will make up for some of the disappointment that people got from seeing this. I am sorry to disappoint people because the film I am writing about is the first film, which this title, which was released in 1925. I came across this film in the bargain bucket at my local WH Smith, for the grand price of £5. I went to see the lost world based on my admiration for it’s prequel, Jurassic Park. Just when you thought all the dinos were dead, Dicky Attenborough pipes up and says he’s got another Island full of them. What we get this time is a rather poor excuse for a film. Very dry dialogue, unlikable characters (Jeff Goldblum’s daughter) intermixed with some very nice set pieces involving dino’s going on the rampage, most impressively on the mainland USA. ...

I read the book for the lost world and absolutly loved it. It is a true Michael Chrichton book and probably better than Jurassic Park. The film however is dreadful. The whole plot has been changed. The reason why the people are even on the island has been changed and it makes it far worse.
