...saw all three films at the cinema I was blown away by the cinematography and sound. I thought it would be difficult to transfer this to the small screen. I was wrong.

Yes the films do drag a little but if you can stay focused its worth it, it takes a whole day to watch them back to back but it will be a good day if you do :), its got everything from romance to murder definatly a film for everyone. Plus all the cast are gorgeous. Get the popcorn and duvets ready :)

Advantages: You have all three films together so you'll never have to wonder what happens next!! Disadvantages: Well if you get bored of them then you have spent quite a lot of money.

I've actually never read the book (like I said I'm not a lover of action/adventure) so I can't compare it to the origional text but as a film I think it was very satisfying to watch with excellent graphics and effects especially considering that the first part came out a few years ago now.
