Amazing second installment of the LOTR trilogy. The only thing that got me down was the length - but times passes quickly when your having fun!

I first read Lord of the Rings 11 years ago, and was enthralled by it. I was looking forward to these films from the moment i heard about them and, after watching The Fellowship of the Ring, expected great things from The Two Towers. Disadvantages: do not see if you have a bladder problem. it is quite long.

If you have read the books you will find your imagination become real on the screen. Gollum is horrible yet endearing at times and the story continues to unfold true to Tolkein's vision. As from the first movie, the scenery is breathtakingly beautiful, as New Zealand is, and the characters continue to develop. Lord of the Rings: Two Towers is an excellent movie. The filmaker employs very imaginative cinematography technics. The quality of acting is impeccable and the progression of scenes is not in any way tiring or boring. Unlike the first movie, the sequel has touch of humour which does not go astray. I first read the book " The Lord of the Rings" 25 years ago, since then I have bought the BBC narrated edition on cassette form. I have seen the cartoon version of " The Lord of the Rings" and was excited when the movie industry decided to make the trilogy for the "Big screen". Advantages: Fantastic use of graphics anf effects!
Disadvantages: quite deep, not an easy watch!

After watching the first Lord of the rings over and over on DVD I couldnt wait to watch the second! The whole film is packed with fantastic graphics and special effects! like walking trees! and the battle seens were out of this world, with you actually feeling that what your watching is real! I watched the first film and was completely gobsmacked by the effects and the detail that had gone into making it. So I was really looking forward to the second "The Two Towers". Well, I wasn't disappointed. The film carries on from the exact spot where the first ended, so you have to try and remember what happened. Advantages: better effects than the first film
Disadvantages: very hard to follow places and names of characters

...to wait so long for the continuation of the first film, and also having to wait for the conclusion. The characters of this sequel were very much the same as the first although the addition of Gollum's character added some light relief from the stories dramatic and sometimes violent storyline. Advantages: brings part one more to life
Disadvantages: i found this second part a little slow to begin with

...that this second part of the trilogy was alittle slow to start with, but with a little patience began to pick up where part one had finished. The effects were magnificent, even magical,and i could imagine myself there with the characters. The musical scores were very much in line with what was going on ,on screen.We enjoyed it very much, and are looking forward to the third part of this amazing adventure. Advantages: good story line, good characters, good special effect/computer graphics, good battle scenes
Disadvantages: its a bit long, but worth it.

...and computer graphics are outstanding. The whole film leaves you feeling really good inside, as all of the elements of the film, i.e. graphics, soundtrack, etc, have been brought together extremely well, and all to to the affect and impact of the film. I think that i'll deffinately go and see it again or buy it on DVD when it comes out. Advantages: Eciting from start to finish
Disadvantages: Having to wait for the next

...is a real winner. The moment the film starts its action all the way. It carries straight on from where Fellowship of the ring ended. The effects are stunning and you get a real feel of the vast size of some of the creatures and landscapes. The story is constantly changing from each group of charecters, so there is never a dull moment throughout the entire film.
