Advantages: Action Packed Disadvantages: Too long
...a bit long. Second in the trilogy was an excellent experience. No wonder it recieved many awards. This action packed film is full of adventure, heroism and courage. The characters including: Frodo, Sam, Aragon, Merry, Pippin, Legolas, Gimli and Gandalf are all on their quest to destroy the ring and put and end to the powers of the dark side.
This film would be better as i said before if it was a bit shorted however it was probably neccessary for ...

see this film twice Review ofThe Lord Of The Rings - The Two Towers DVDby

Advantages: good scenery and clear dialogue from the main actors Disadvantages: far too many characters and too much diversification
having never read the books, which could be a distinct disadvantage I found that I couldn't keep up with the characters in the story. The names were obscure and difficult to remember and the story seemed to jump around confusing the issue. This is a film which you really need to see two or three times to really get to grips with it and if you can manage it, to read the books as well. Perhaps the rest of the trilology will put things in perspective ...

Advantages: VERY VISUALLY Disadvantages: TOO LONG WITH FAR TO MANY LULLS IN PLOT
...hours and sum too long. The only saving grace
was the gollom, whos name escapes me for now.
This was not a bad film, but I left with the feeling that I will probably never watch this film again.
Like other films you view on mulitple occassions there are bits that you anticipate seeing again, but not with this film. I couldn't do it to my asre again, to sit through some 3hours plus with no bits to
get exicted about.
Only gollom was great, the ...

Advantages: Brilliant effects and acting.Good sound effects Disadvantages: Do'nt know why they called it the two towers didnt see them at all
Don't normally go to the pictures but after seeing the Lord Of The Rings couldn't wait to see The Two Towers. The only thing was i was continually waiting to see them. The effects of the film were astounding and the sound effects also but something was missing in the story line.Because of its title you keep waiting for some recognition of what you went to see but it never happened and the ending was as if it was in the middle of the film. Stunned ...

Advantages: fun to watch very good movie Disadvantages: too long for one film
for the first two episodes of this saga, the only thing that i can say is that the entertainment industry needs to produce more films like these, as they pack all the needs of a movie would have, the thrill, adventure and romance with all the suspense of waiting for the next episodes. with a lot of people loosing interest in watching movies because of availability after 3 months to tapes or dvd, this movie deserve to be watch on the big screen, hope ...

Advantages: This film has some action unlike the one that preceeded it Disadvantages: it was poor in general with mistakes and uninspired plot
...was i realised that even the pathetic stylings of the Harry Potter films seemed like the first viewing of 'pulp fiction' in comparison. Despite the ridiculous names and clothes, there was also the proposterous statements made throughout the film such as, Aragon taking a boys sword, which looked like it had served in every battle of the hundred years war and even then was old, and stated ' it's a fine blade'
Do not buy this film however, you should ...
