Worth Every Penny!!

Advantages: Some excellent special effects and unbeatable storyline
Disadvantages: very abrupt cut between discs

...minutes of extra footage included. The Two towers starts where the fellowship of the ring finishes with the fellowship going it's separate ways. Frodo and Sam heading for Mordor, the other two hobbits taken captive and Gimli, Legolas and Aragorn in hot pursuit. If you have read the book you will appreciate the extra scenes which have been added. This installment of the trilogy introduces us to Treebeard and the ents of fangorm forest. We see the ...
...he really helping them:. The two Towers sees the first great battle of the trilogy at Helm's Deep, the fortress of Rohan. The action in these scenes is excellent and has been very well thoughtout. The Lord of the rings is an amazing one of a kind film and for that reason the huge amount of extra features is more than justified. Peter Jackson has made a great job of documenting every little thing that happened during the filming and it appears he ...

Dwarves are natural sprinters!

Advantages: Fantastic cinematography and battle scenes
Disadvantages: Some might find it a little long.

As with the Fellowship of the Ring, this Extended Edition has extended scenes and additional scenes which add depth and scope to the entire story. ______________________________________________ Story: The Two Towers is the second film in the trilogy. It picks up where the first film left off, Peter Jackson's THE TWO TOWERS throws the remaining members of the Fellowship into the scattered chaos of Middle-earth, now fully under siege by the forces ...
