...love with Beryl and Sandra the moment I clicked onto the UKTV Drama channel. As I've always been fascinated with fashion of different era's I was hooked on watching the various fashions through the epidoes; the ultra-mini-mini-skirts, knee high boots, big hair do's, the make-up and the way of living. Eventually I was hooked on the adventures of Beryl and Sandra and just had to get the only DVD of it that there is. The adventures of dating the right ... ...before everything works out for the best.
Each episode starts with the great theme tune of the Liver Birds song, whilst Sandra (Nerys Hughes) and Beryl (Polly James) are shown in several parts of 70's Liverpool, including on one of the old buses with the conductor. The episodes have a different story each and don't seem to bare too much relevance to each other in this 2nd series. This is a good thing considering there seems to be no record of any ...
