This review is on the film only and not the dvd. In this movie Johnathan Haze stars as a really clumsy florist assistant Seymour. The movie starts with a musical called skidrow. Advantages: funny and a must-see

...and although I do enjoy the Rick Moranis remake, I do adore this version. Steve Martin is brilliant in the newer one, but Jack Nicholson rivals him for comedy performance in the original. Behind the comedic plot of a giant-talking-man-eating plant that needs more meat as it grows bigger and bigger, the story is rather sad, as poor Seymour tries his best to satisy Audrey ll (the plant) and the girl of his dreams Audrey.
