How King sold the rights to his so-so short story about a murderous satyr who mows lawns to the producers, and how they turned it into this unrelated tribute to cyberspace/virtual reality, is probably a story in itself worthy of a movie. Don't be mislead by the King connection or the title: this is basically an early entry into the growing genre of virtual reality movie. ...to see this film at the cinema many years ago, it was supposed to be based on a stephen king story. But turned out to be nothing like the short story. Jobe (played by Jeff Fahey) is the local church gadener and not very bright, when he meets Dr Angelo (played by Pierce Brosnan) Who has been using computers to increase the intellegence of monkey's, offers to do the same to Jobe. The result is that his intellengence is increased so much he goes crazy ...
