The Incredibles is one of the many excellent offerings from Disney Pixar (creators of such great movies as Finding Nemo, Cars). I have to admit I've always been a fan of the wave of computer generated animations that have arisen in the last decade or so, but even more so because when I tire of endless Peppa Pig, Fifi and the Flowertots, Pocoyo, or other such pre-school animations that would drive even the most childish adult to the brink of insanity ...
...on a different level. The Incredibles is really the only feature length film Mia will really watch yet (but I look forward to the family filmfests as she gets older!). Therefore it is my new favourite! I've always enjoyed this movie, and with Cars being my prior favourite, I recently purchased the collector's edition box set containing both movies. I watched this for the first time in ages last night, and had forgotten how much I love it!!!! It is another one of the Disney and Pixar animation films (along with the likes of Finding Nemo and Monsters Inc). I haven't yet worked out what the clue for the next film is in this one, but if you look at Monsters Inc, Boo has a Nemo soft toy and in Finding Nemo the little boy who is waiting to go into the dentists at the end - I'm pretty sure he's reading ...

Mr Incredible points out to his wife (Elastigirl) when she mentions their sons upcoming 'graduation' - "It's not graduation he's moving from the 3rd grade to the 4th grade! Every day people seem to be finding new ways of celebrating mediocrity" - how else would an ex-superhero feel about regular living! The graphics are out of this world! ...
...this married with the soundtrack and perfect performances from the voice actors makes this not only the best animated feature but possibly one of the best films ever made!
