Advantages: Fabulous scenes, Good acting Disadvantages: Creepy!
...film 'The Hand That Rocks The Cradle' around 10 years ago when I purchased it from a video club I was a member of. Its a Thriller / Drama genre and does have you hooked from the start. Its very cleverly written and directed a thouroughly enjoyable creepy film.

...husband Michael (Matt McCoy) of the crime and the couple file a complaint, following this complaint other victims come forward and knowing that his career is over the Doctor shoots himself in the head. Months later, baby Joe has been born and things couldn't be better for the couple. Michael thinks that Claire needs a break from taking care of the children 24/7 so he encourages her to hire a Nanny. Claire takes this advice on board and hires Peyton ... ...Nanny is that she's actually the dead doctor's widow. ...movie or seen it in the television listings and passed it by - its certainly had that many showing thats you'd be hard pressed to have avoided it completely anyway. As such, its not something I would generally bother to review, but considering the fact that up until yesterday, what is generally considered to be one of the best'enemy within' style thrillers out there didn't even have a category here...well anyway, here my two penneth...
The Hand ... ...parent's worst nightmares, ripping into the very heart of white middle class yuppie lifestyles but which tends to gloss over some of the more searching emotional issues in favour of going for the easy scare. Advantages: MAKES YOU THINK Disadvantages: ABI5T SICK IN PLACES
...nanny to help her with the bringing up etc of her child wilst her bubby works very long hours. Rebecca Da Mornay couldnt have played a better part as Peyton who loses her baby and is in desperate need to take away the pain of losing her baby p;lus her husband.Shes a psyhco on the loose and she turns up unexpected at this house,she has her interview then hears the sound of a baby crying.She settles in quite nicely in this household and is a god send ... ...milk in her own breasts and has been quietly feeding the baby early hours of the morning.When the husband and wife find out excactly whats going on,and tell her to leave,is it the end? I dont think so, she takes severe revenge on her employers.This film is a must see. ...
