Well, "they" ran THE GOOD, THE BAD AND THE UGLY on "the box" (i.e. on TV) the other night, and once again I was hooked. Unfortunately, the version shown was NOT letter-box, which as you all know is TV's method of trying to recapture the glorious widescreen of the cinema. ...fantastic soundtrack Leone's conclusion to the trilogy must go down as one of the best films ever. A superbly moody ambiance pervades the whole film although there are also moments of comic relief mainly coming from the exchanges between the man with no name (Clint) and the Mexican. Clint Eastwood (Blondie) stars as the 'Good' in this thrilling Western adventure that certainly doesn't fail to impress. The movie is 177 minutes long and every second is unmissable right from the very first scene.
