...in L.A., 'The Fast and The Furious' tells of an undercover cop (Paul Walker, aka "Brian O'Connor") who is sent in to investigate the thefts of expensive electronic appliances and entertainment systems from hijacked, moving trucks. He sets about getting into the life of Domonic Toretto (Diesel), an infamous street racer, and one of the top suspects in the case. Along the way, O'Connor gets sucked into the gritty underworld of illegal street racing, ... ...(Jordana Brewster).
The films winds through many different locations and keeps the audience on the edge in a whodunnit manner, and shows the torment being inflicted on O'Connor, as he is torn between justice, love, his job, and his friends (not to mention his new found need for speed).
Despite some less than average acting moments from several of the cast, on the whole it is an entertaining and truly exhilerating film. The action scenes are well ...
