Advantages: Great special effects, great direction, good entertaining movie. true to the comic Disadvantages: as the title suggests, a little bit dark
...new man to take on the Hero title and step down into a more normal life. His plan is to hand his cape (meterphorically speaking) to DA Harvey Dent (Eckhart) but his plans are in jeapordy when The Joker begins causing chaos and masterminding horrific crimes, and he is forced to rethink.
PERSONAL REVIEW
After hearing so much about the death of Heath Ledger, and feeling nausious any time I saw a picture of Heath as the Joker prior to seeing the movie, ... ...likely to be one of the better movies of the year. I was very glad I did, Heath's performance as Joker was outstanding and even outshone Batman. Even though Bale shows Batman's human and conflicting nature really well, Heath managed to carry off the psychotic and manipulative nature of the Joker without it being unwatchable. ...and the special effects were amazing, where can I get a Batbike?
Well worth buying on DVD and watching over and over. ...

After seeing the previews and hearing of the cast list (including one of the last performances of Heath Ledger) I knew I had to see The Dark Knight. I was a bit aprehensive however due to the film lasting 152 minutes. So after sitting and watching the ovie for 152 minutes - it only felt like half an hour! Not once did he film get boring or seem to drag. This is probably my favourite movie of all time, I couldn't have asked for more. Heath Ledger ...

Quick review of The Dark Knight (DVD)
The film is good on it's own, but for those of you that saw Batman Begins you may be slightly disapointed as this doesn't quite live up to it. In it's own right a good film, as a follow on film disapointing and a bit dragged out. ...

Advantages: a brilliant film in every way Disadvantages: quite long
in my opinion this was the best film of last year, if not of the last 10 years. I think that the way the characters wear played by the actors and actresses was fantastic. i would definitely recommend this film. i believe that the storyline and the way it expands is brilliant. one of the thing the stood out most to me was the joker and how well the character was played. this batman is darker than the rest but i believe that that gives it an added ...

Advantages: Love it , good performance Disadvantages: -
From the others Batman show, I think Dark Knight it the best show they ever filmed. Well based on my opinion this show gives a interesting plot that we can't wait want to know what is going on the next part.
Well for the character performance I feel that the Joker (Heath Ledger) gives the best performance as an actor in that show. He is too good that he should be nominated as the best actor. Well, sadly he passed away just after the show. R. I. ... ...the show. Well as you all know Heath Ledger passed away before the film is on, did the director cut the last scene from the show? Cause I watch and I did not see the Joker died at last. The show is finish when Batman send the Joker to jail. But one of my cousin says that he died jumping from a building. So I am confused on hows the ending of the Dark Knight.....#$@%@%@ ...

Advantages: Gripping, thrilling, a movie not to miss Disadvantages: A bit long but unoticable. Maggie Gyllenhal's part sucked
...by far better than Hancock. The filming, the colors, the suites and costumes are all well designed!
It hypnotizes you to be mesmerised and to be fully focused in on the movie not even paying attention to you noisy cousin eating pop-corn. Personally i hate the guy who plays Batman but he did a fabulous job! having said that i want you to see how The Joker is transformed from an ordinary villian to an unforgettable charachter. All people are going ... ...captured him in the small gestures, facial expressions and the accent. He even changed his voice! This movie is a must see for all ages and for both men and women. It should be put up there with the God Father trilogy as i am open to watching it more than once! ...

Advantages: Action packed, great story line Disadvantages: Is abit slow in places
...wouldn't win a fight against the weakest of super heroes!? Anyway even if you are not a fan of batman you will like this movie. Its alot more adult than the orignals and is completely and utterly brilliant. The whole story and the amazing acting through out hooks you from the start till the end and by the end you are sitting on the end of your seat iching because you are too excited. I still remember the first time i saw this movie, I couldn't stay ... ...for almost 2.5 hours isn't to your liking than i say don't watch it. Everyone has the own tastes. One last thing I think a 12 rating is abit low because some of the scenes in the movie are abit shocking and could proably scare the younger kids. ...
